Learning to play the harmonica

Eric brought home a bluegrass harmonica the other night and Nolan was so tickled by the noise it makes! After a little practice with daddy, Nolan picked up on how to play it...and has been having fun with it ever since! Check this out...

Boo at the Zoo

We took Nolan to Boo at the Zoo last night with our friends Joy and Ash and their little girl Mallory. We rode the carousel, walked through the petting zoo, and took Nolan on the train. He had so much fun and pretty much walked the whole time, not wanting to ride in his wagon! Nolan was such a cute spider and Mallory was the prettiest peacock ever!

Zachary Thomas Oglesbee

My sister Allison and her husband Jeff were blessed with a beautiful baby boy on Friday, October 10th at 7:27am, weighing 8 lbs. 1 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. We were able to go home this past weekend to meet the little guy....who is just precious and sooo tiny! My parents are so happy to have 2 grandsons now and Nolan can't wait for him to get bigger so they can play!

Old Baker Farm Pumpkin Patch

Today we took Nolan and Nommie to pick out pumpkins at the Old Baker Farm. We had such a good time taking pictures and enjoying the nice weather. Nolan went on his first hayride and loved the petting zoo! He was really walking all over the place and made it easier on us not having to carry him everywhere :)

Race for the Cure

Within the last few months I've started running again and ran in my first 5k today since I've had Nolan...the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I ran along with 13,000 other people who came out for this great cause and I finished in 29:06...with having to walk just a little. It felt great to be out there this morning and it motivated me to run more.

Spooky but Cute!!!

We picked up Nolan's Halloween costume on Sunday from PBK and couldn't wait to try it on him that night. He lasted about 5 mins before he threw the hat down on the floor! I sure hope it's cooler when we take him to Boo at the Zoo in 2 weeks....we've got one spooky little spider!

Nolan turned 14 months yesterday

Nolan is such a sponge right now and is constantly picking up on new things. He's such an affectionate toddler and is quick to give you a hug or blow you a kiss. He is starting to pick up on more words, he's walking more, and just loves to play hide-in-seek. He's very curious about what's in all the cabinets & drawers and has made it pretty clear we need to baby proof a lot more! Nolan also has really adapted to going to school and enjoys music and art and gets so excited when they go out to the playground!!

Here are a few snapshots I took last night of our sweet love bug:
