Hanging around this town

Nolan loves his baby cousin Zachary
Nolan protects Zachary from falling off his chair
Eric & I at the Hard Rock after dinner at Ruth Chris
Our good friends Nicole and Jason joined us for dinner

Nolan hates the sand!
He wants to play at the beach, but hates how the sand feels on his feet

After our usual 4 mile walk on the beach sidewalk, I got Nolan to warm up to being on the beach. He was smiling this time! He actually walked back to the car through the sand this time with no shoes on. I was so proud!

Nolan at 19 months

Nolan has been such a trooper these last few weeks and has really adapted well to change considering our hectic schedule with moving, packing, and staying with his Nommie for 5 days...the longest time we have ever left him. He is such a blessing to our lives and we are so thankful to God for entrusting us with him. We think Nolan is really going to enjoy living close to the beach and being a small car ride away from his grandparents. Now that we are settled, I'll start snapping new pics of our outings and activities.

IT'S A BOY!!!

Before Eric and I left Birmingham on Friday to move to Gulfport, we had one last doctor's appointment with Dr. Duke for our anatomy scan. I think Eric and I were both shocked when she said, "It's a Boy!". My pregnancy this time around has been so different from my first that I truly thought it must be a girl. Anyhow, we are so excited to have another boy and can't wait for Nolan to have a playmate and best buddy for the rest of his life. I think it's such a blessing that we were able to conceive so quickly this time around and he is a perfect example of our strong faith and commitment to God's plan for our life, despite my small medical condition that may have caused fear to have more children. I think of this precious baby boy as "God's Will" and therefore Eric and I are going to name him William.
